Reminders
First off please remember that you must turn your work in to the rainbow box that is next to the door.
I try to make sure that I'm updating Power School as quickly as I can, but it will at least say if you have turned in the assignment.
Articles of the Week are due within the 6 week grading period. I'm nice, but not that nice. If I give you the chance, you will turn in all your work the day before grades are due and that is not fair to me.
I try to keep my agenda available on the wing next to the promethean board. Sometimes I get sidetracked and forget, but it usually is on our flipchart in class.
Please remember that our agenda is composed of 3 questions:
1. What are we doing?
2. How are we doing it?
3. Why are we doing it?

Organizing my Online Presence
My goal this year is to try and make sure that if you are absent you will know how to go about getting the info that you need for what you missed.
For the 10th grade class, I'm using a google sites page.
The ESL classes are trying out Google Classroom.
For the most part I like the google sites page a bit better, but only because the Google Classroom is newer.
I do still have certain items on Moodle or My Big Campus so you will have to follow whatever instructions I give you.

Second Semester 2014-2015
The goal is to retry using blogs in a class. I hope to use it with all 9th grade classes to make it easier to manage paper. Now let us see how that works.
